She supports SFL and clients in the setup, maintenance and risk management of quality systems according to Swiss and EU regulations. She is involved in the preparation and review of SOPs, monitoring of compliance to SOPs, preparation of Establishment License documentation and monitoring of quality system performance (e.g. tracking of Change Controls, Corrective and Preventative Actions, Quality Metrics and Risk Metrics). Moreover, Ausma’s native English skills and fluency in German facilitate health authority inspections of international clients in Switzerland.
Alongside her role in SFL Quality Assurance, she acts as Deputy Responsible Person and Deputy Pharmacovigilance Responsible Person at SFL.
Before joining SFL, Ausma conducted postdoctoral research with the focus on non-coding Ribonucleic acids (RNAs) and gene editing as well as in a biotech company. She holds a PhD in Molecular Cell Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
