Barbara Polek

Barbara is Head Supply Chain at SFL.

Within SFL she supports clients in selecting and setting up tailored product distribution solutions in Switzerland and the European Union, both under early access, as well as under commercial terms. This may include help in ensuring compliance with product identification and traceability requirements set forth by the EU Falsified Medicines Directive. In order to ensure viability of the proposed solutions Barbara taps into SFL’s expertise in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Marketing, as required.

Before joining SFL, Barbara held line and project management positions in a broad spectrum of subject matter areas of supply chain management and medicinal product distribution, both in a large international pharma company and in small to medium size biotech companies developing and commercializing orphan drugs.

Barbara holds a Master degree (lic.rer.pol.) in Economics from the University of Basel, Switzerland, as well as a MSc in International Pharmacoeconomics and Health Economics from Cardiff University, UK.
