Gerhard is Director Quality Assurance at SFL.

He supports SFL’s Quality Assurance team and clients in the preparation of documents for the development and maintenance of their quality management system according to Swiss and EU regulations. Alongside his role in SFL Quality Assurance, he acts as a Responsible person and Deputy Responsible Person for clients and is involved in the preparation and review of quality agreements and SOPs. In addition, Gerhard performs monitoring of quality systems such as CAPA, Change Controls and GxP Deviations and supports evaluation of Product Quality Reviews.

Gerhard has worked in various fields in the Pharmaceutical Industry including RA, QA, Production and Supply chain.

Before joining SFL, Gerhard worked in Supply Chain Quality at a Multinational Pharmaceutical company. He holds a B Pharm and an MSc in Pharmacy from the University of Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
