Lei Fang

Lei is Medical Affairs Associate at SFL and provides medical and regulatory writing support to SFL’s Medical Affairs team in both English and Mandarin.

He is involved in the preparation of high-quality scientific and regulatory documents with pharmaceutical and medical content, including but not limited to peer-reviewed manuscripts, ad hoc analyses of clinical trials, Real World Data analyses, clinical study reports, safety narratives adhering to regulatory standards, and sections of MAA dossiers. With a background as a clinician, Lei provides comprehensive medical insights and clinical expertise during consulting activities.

Before joining SFL, Lei worked as a scientist in the Clinic of Respiratory Diseases at University Hospital of Basel, focusing on research in personalized and translational medicine for asthma, COPD, IPF and infectious diseases. He is a registered specialist physician in China and has worked as a cardiothoracic surgeon and anesthesiologist.

Lei graduated with an MD in Pulmonology and a PhD in Neuro-Ophthalmology from University of Basel, Switzerland. Additionally, he holds a Master degree in Surgery and a Diploma in Medicine from China.
