Samuel Gavillet

Samuel is Associate Director Public Affairs and Regulatory Intelligence at SFL.

Samuel leads various multi-disciplinary projects for a wide range of products in the life science sector. He has an in-depth understanding of the legislative processes and policy environment at European and Swiss levels. Samuel leads public affairs and cross-functional projects for organizations active in the pharmaceutical, medtech and other healthcare-related sectors. Samuel also leads the Secretariat of the Medtech & Pharma Platform (MPP) Association. Among other things, he has extensive experience in providing tailored policy and regulatory intelligence as well as in formulating stakeholder engagement strategies.

Before joining SFL, Samuel interned at a Geneva-based foundation focused on security sector reforms and governance. He also worked as a trainee at the Swiss Embassy in Singapore where he supported the work of the diplomatic section.

Samuel was awarded a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He received his master’s degree in International Affairs and Governance from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
