E-learning materials for rapid knowledge gain on a disease area and available treatment options

Situation

The head quarter of a leading Swiss pharmaceutical company requested content development for an e-learning educational tool that would enable both experienced medical leaders in the affiliates and new arrivals to the company to quickly get up to speed on a relevant disease area, available treatment options and the specific advantages of the company’s proprietary products within this treatment landscape.

Solution

SFL developed high quality, evidence-based, referenced content in a modular structure optimized for the e-learning format. Individual text units were broken down to suit the constraints of a screen-based tool and complemented with effective illustrations. At the end of each chapter, a self-assessment tool in the form of a multiple choice quiz was integrated.

After the successful launch of this first e-learning tool, SFL was asked by the company to develop the content for three additional e-learning tools and to review/revise a module that has been prepared by another agency.
