Head of SFL Group Shayesteh Fürst-Ladani re-elected as RDAF President

On 21 March 2022, Shayesteh Fürst-Ladani, Head of SFL Group, was unanimously re-elected as President of the Rare Disease Action Forum (RDAF) during the association’s 2022 General Assembly meeting. She highlighted that she is “honored by the trust of the RDAF members and will continue to support the RDAF activities. The ongoing limitations in the field of rare diseases show the necessity to foster the dialogue between all stakeholders and strengthen collaborative approaches.”

The RDAF gathers representatives from industry, patient and research organizations and healthcare providers active in the field of rare diseases in Switzerland to raise awareness about rare diseases and improve patients’ access to diagnosis, treatment and care. It provides a neutral and reliable platform to dialogue with relevant stakeholders and define common solutions for joint actions.
