SFL organizes the MPP conference and takes part in discussions on combined products’ regulation

The 10th anniversary edition of the Medtech & Pharma Platform (MPP) Annual Conference, organized by SFL, will take place on 27 September 2023 in Basel, Switzerland.

Dedicated to “Therapeutic innovation with combined products – better healthcare to patients”, the conference focuses on products and solutions combining medicinal product, medical device and digital health components (combined products). The event gathers stakeholders from industry, patient organizations, academia, notified bodies, regulators and public health authorities to exchange knowledge, collaborate in technology and regulatory areas, as well as to promote product development and innovation.

Shayesteh Fürst-Ladani, the Head of the SFL Group, will open the conference and moderate a panel on the regulation of combined products with high calibre speakers from regulators of the EMA, FDA, Swissmedic, as well as representatives from the industry and patient organizations.

Nathalie Schober-Ladani, SFL’s Senior Director Public Affairs and Regulatory Intelligence, will co-moderate an expert session which will explore policy and regulatory developments related to digital health. During the session, Samuel Gavillet, SFL’s Associate Director Public Affairs and Regulatory Intelligence, will share insights into most recent policy developments and exchange with the other speakers and the audience.

Several SFL team members will be present at the SFL booth and provide information on the services offered by SFL to participants.
