SFL participates in Morning Talk at Johnson & Johnson

SFL’s Head of Regulatory Affairs & Medical Devices, Karin Schulze, will participate in the Morning Talk at Johnson & Johnson event, organized by Swiss Medtech, that will take place at the European headquarters of Depuy Synthes in Zuchwil, on 18 September 2018. Topics covered will include current challenges for medical technology companies, with a view towards the new Medical Devices Regulation (MDR), which will fully apply in Switzerland from May 2020 onwards.

SFL’s Regulatory Affairs department is supporting clients in the field of medical devices, in vitro diagnostics and combination products to ensure their smooth transition to business under the new EU Regulations.

In addition, SFL runs the secretariat of the Medtech & Pharma Platform (MPP) association, for whom Karin is Chair of the working group examining how the implementation of the new MDR will affect the rapidly developing area of combined products. The flagship conference of the MPP association is the annual event, which will take place this year in Basel on 16-17 October 2018.

Want to know more on how to ensure business continuity under the new MDR? Please get in touch with us to discuss your projects.
