SFL to participate in discussions on the FDA’s approach to software as medical devices
Niklaus Wagner, Head of Public Affairs at SFL, is looking forward to hearing the views of Bakul Patel, Deputy Director of Digital Health at the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health on the regulation of software as medical devices (SaMDs). The event entitled “Software as a Medical Device – The Perspective of the FDAa>” (22nd March 2019, Bern University of Applied Sciences), will consist of an online presentation by Mr Patel, followed by a panel discussion on the emerging challenges and opportunities in the SaMDs field.
