SFL’s Senior Manager Market Access and HEOR, Daniel Dröschel, will participate in the International Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) Europe 2019 Conference (2‑6 November 2019, Copenhagen) entitled “Digital Transformation of Healthcare: Changing Roles and Sharing Responsibilities”. Daniel is looking forward to engaging in discussions on exploring value in healthcare technology beyond cost-containment and standard health economic evaluations. This includes additional elements of value like such as product-to-patient strategies (patient support programs), values associated with a particular indication or outcomes like lifetime health gains and cost offsets vs. long-term healthcare costs- often summarized under the term value-based healthcare.
Daniel has many years of experience in the field and is an expert in traditional (e.g. rebates, discount), emerging (e.g. pay for performance) and innovative (e.g. indication-based pricing, reinsured risk pool models) pricing models. Daniel and SFL’s reimbursement team develop sustainable value strategies for pharmaceuticals and medical devices, like extended contractual arrangements for value-based healthcare with product- and location-specific considerations to ensure product access to the market. Daniel would be happy to meet you at the conference, or you can contact us to arrange a meeting with Daniel to discuss how SFL can support your projects.
