The head of the SFL Group is reelected as RDAF President

We are excited to announce that Shayesteh Fürst-Ladani, Head of the SFL Group, was unanimously re-elected as President of the Rare Disease Action Forum (RDAF) during the Association’s 2023 General Assembly meeting on 28 March.

After thanking the RDAF members for their trust, Shayesteh stated that she is honored to be able to continue to support the RDAF activities. She stressed that “more work needs to be done to address outstanding challenges for persons living with a rare disease in Switzerland” and underlined that “the RDAF multi-stakeholder setting enables us to foster the dialogue between all stakeholders and develop collaborative approaches.”

The RDAF is a multi-stakeholder not-for-profit organization active in the field of rare diseases in Switzerland. The RDAF gathers representatives from industry, patient and research organizations and healthcare professionals; it provides a neutral and reliable platform to dialogue with relevant stakeholders and define common solutions for joint actions.

SFL is a founding member of the RDAF and supports its work to raise awareness about rare diseases and improve patients’ access to diagnosis, treatment and care.
