SFL’s CEO Shayesteh Fürst-Ladani is opening the Medtech & Pharma Platform (MPP) Virtual Annual Conference (22-23 October 2020, online) in her capacity as the President of the Medtech and Pharma Platform Association. This year the conference will explore the theme of “Achieving patient-centricity under the new MDR – balancing stakeholder interests”. Shayesteh is also moderating a high-level panel on Combined Products (October 22, 1:30 pm CEST), with representatives from the European Commission and key stakeholder organizations and Associations. Furthermore, SFL’s Head of Medical Devices Karin Schultz will also chair a session entitled “From ideation to innovative products” (October 22, 3:30 pm CEST), while SFL’s Head of Supply Chain Barbara Polek is presenting on “Promoting patient safety through new supply chain controls under the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and the Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD)” on October 23, 11:00 am CEST (Session 5 on Patient/user needs in development of combined products).
